Madrid Destino operates some of the city’s most notable venues, whose main function is to accommodate a wide variety of meetings, business forums, trade fairs, conferences, sporting events and any type of presentation. These include the impressive Caja Mágica designed by Dominique Perrault, with more than 83,000 square metres, nearly 16,400 seats in the stands, and two more stadiums with 4,700 seats, and the Madrid Conference Centre, with a 1,800-seat auditorium, multifunctional spaces and exhibition halls, a venue which has become a fixture for large-scale international summits.
No list of venues would be complete without mentioning the Casa de Campo country park, Madrid’s largest green space, where the Glass Pavilion, the Conference Pavilion, two additional multifunctional pavilions, the Puerta del Ángel Stage and the Theatre- Auditorium provide some of the most complete and impressive facilities for holding any kind of event.
Madrid Destino also oversees the city’s cultural venues which, in addition to housing large exhibitions, offering numerous theatrical productions and a wealth of cultural activities, can also host events of any kind. It is responsible for the Teatro Español, Conde Duque Cultural Centre, Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa, Teatro Circo Price, Medialab-Prado, CentroCentro Cibeles and Matadero Madrid.
